Bagpuss rocks!

My sister bought me a lovely Bagpuss heat thingy for Christmas. He's so gorgeous I love him! How lucky. Anyway, have had a great time and am looking forward to a positive 2013.

So far I have two exhibitions planned. One at NeST Gallery, Barnard Castle in February and the other at Bondgate Gallery, Bishop Auckland in April. Busy times. Will post further info/dates asap.

Spent the morning at NeST Gallery yesterday  as a volunteer. I have some work exhibited there at the moment and some new pieces going up in February.

It's a lovely space to exhibit and also has a cafe making it a perfect place to visit!

I seem to have managed to follow myself? Not quite sure how and can't work out how to unfollow myself! It just goes to show the lengths one goes to look popular :D

Work continues on my fruit bowl on a sunflower tablecloth. This is taken on my mobile so not the best quality but gives an idea of where I'm at with it. Meanwhile here's High Force so far, not finished tweaking Autumn yet but thought it would be interesting to see them together.

This could be fun... or not! My first attempt at blogging.

Have spent the morning working on 'Fruit Bowl' painting, not quite there with it yet but I shall persevere! The lighting is very poor today which doesn't really help. Also have High Force in Autumn to finish, just a few tweaks I think, plus the winter one to start to complete my seasons series.
