Preparations!

Oh dear I can't believe we are rapidly approaching, dare I say it, Christmas! I have to admit I've been busy preparing so I thought I'd share a few of my gifting projects which will be available either through my Etsy shop or at a couple of  seasonal fairs where I shall be selling my wares!

To start with here are my framed prints based on 'Dwelling Place', an original oil painting inspired by a visit to the West Coast of Scotland.

Dwelling Place

Followed by my Christmas cards for this year, I
am eagerly awaiting their arrival from Moo.com. Here's
a cheeky sneak preview of two of them for your eyes only.

Finally, these two are my festive coaster designs in the making...

Craft Fair at Number 4

I'm really looking forward to taking part in the Craft Fair at Number 4 Café next month. It will be great to do a bit of networking and meet some more creative people. If you would like to find out a little more about the café including opening times then please follow the links below:

Meantime, I best get busy making - especially with Christmas looming on the not too distant horizon. Here's a taster of some of the items I have been making, which will be available to buy at the fair.

I hate to do this but I'll add these cards too...

A Day Out in Liverpool

I have been wanting to visit Liverpool for some time now and this year we finally made it! I have to say a day didn't really do it justice but was enough to give me a good reason to visit again.

Rachel Levitas: Fox with Dahlias IV Campden Gallery, fine art, Chipping Campden, camden gallery, contemporary, contemporary arts, contemporary art, artists, painting, sculpture, abstract painting, gloucestershire, cotswolds, painting for sale, artwork for sale, modern art gallery, art exhibitions, arts gallery, gallery art, art gallery UK
Our first brush with culture was the Walker Art Gallery
where we took in the John Moores Painting Prize
Exhibition. Well worth a visit, I particularly liked Rachel Levitas' Fox with Dahlias IV part of her Urban Fox Series.

Our next port of call was the famous Albert Dock with its largest group of grade 1 listed buildings in the UK. Naturally we stopped for refreshments along the way as we took a leisurely stroll around the waterfront.

A welcome sight!

NB I'm not a listed building :D

A beautiful city with plenty to see and very friendly people. Would definitely recommend a visit and am hoping to return in the not too distant future.
