For a slight change I thought it would be refreshing to post a few pieces of work from contemporary artists I admire, so here goes. I hope you enjoy them too.
I came upon this artist on a visit to Harrogate in the summer with my sister. We popped into
Walker Galleries on Montpellier Parade for some inspiration, and there it was in the work of
Katherine Swinfen Eady. Here are just two of her wonderful paintings, to see more click

Malcolm Ashman is another artist who I have just discovered. Born in Bath in 1957 he studied at Somerset College of Art and is a member of the RBA.

Finally the wonderful work of
Elaine Pamphilon.
You can find out more about this Cornish based artist by following this
link. Walks along the cliffs and sea paths, observing the changing light of sea and sky have been a strong influence in her work.
