NeST Spring Exhibition 2013

NeST Spring 2013 Exhibition is upon us! The preview afternoon was today and very well attended. It was great to feel the positivity and optimism of Spring reflected in the artwork and atmosphere of the occasion. This has to be a great endorsement of Catherine Howard's work as manager at the gallery, bringing together an eclectic range of styles and media.

 

 

 

 

I have to highlight a particular artist whose work I was very much drawn to - Sharon Loddey. Her paintings caught my eye as soon as I walked into the gallery. Having caught my eye I was so pleased on approaching her work that it kept me interested. Each piece seemed to guide me through a little journey of discovery. The combination of texture, colour and mark making worked to create a unity and experience which I found refreshing and inspiring. Thank you Sharon.
