Working with Jonah

As yet I haven't decided on a title for this one. Some of my thought processes and research references that have gone into it are outlined here.

The story of Jonah symbolises the human soul as it undergoes the transformation described by Jesus as being” born again”.

The whale also represents the world of physical substance, and the prison of the mortal self from which the immortal soul within is eventually set free.   http://www.examiner.com/article/spiritual-symbolism-of-jonah-and-the-whale
Bruce Johnson

The whale represents the earth and man’s lower nature.

...a mighty storm -
friction/ discomfort facilitates and encourages inner growth -
                                                                                belly (of a whale),  womb,
 birth, death,rebirth.
 Not finished but shaping up.
