Experiments with gesso

I decided to buy some gesso. I don't know why but I felt the urge. So happily I purchased a small amount at a reduced price from The Art Shop in Darlington (I do like a bargain). Unlike one of my favourite quotes amongst the shopping fraternity at the GM desk in Sainsbury's, I have actually got round to experimenting with my little bargain.
