The Bath House - RHS Harlow Carr

Late last year I was delighted to be asked to put some of my artwork in an exhibition at The Bath House at RHS Harlow Carr. The exhibition opened at the end of January and runs throughout February. I thought I'd give you a little taster as to what you can find there; it's like a little treasure trove in the most wonderful setting.

These little chaps are just three of my cards available to buy at £2.50 each, they've been very popular so far. Today I dropped some more off plus some new butterfly designs.

To whet your appetite for all things creative there is a diverse range of talents and skills for you to peruse. I'm sure you will be able to find that little special something as a gift, especially with Mother's Day on the horizon, or why not just treat yourself?  Whatever your tastes it's well worth a visit.

Christmas is coming...

It's that time of year again so here are some of my Christmas card designs. I sketched the robins first and then scanned and worked into them digitally. When I was happy with the sketch I added a touch of colour. The end result is quite simple but effective.

Catch Up!

I'm always shocked at how the time flies, but here we go again with a very much needed update on goings on!
Busy day in the studio today. I bought some mini daffs in a bright yellow plastic pot so had to put them atop my bright orange saucer and hence a series of sketches as they grew which I have now begun painting, here is the start of the 1st two. Also featured ... tweaks on 'Barbed Wire and Molehills' and further work on Durham Cathedral which will be slow progress because it has moments of intense detail.
